welcome to my fandom page
I guess this will be a page with information on fandom and media, as well as "mini-shrines" and lists about my own fandoms.Fandom has been one of my passions since 2004, when I first made an account on a fansite. And I've been stuck here ever since lol. I don't have much to show for it though. I've written fanfiction and drawn fanart, but not much of it has made it to the internet or stayed there. I've also deleted most of my accounts and things and changed my name several times from the old days. The most of what can be found of me are random shitposts and liveblogging on social media. But I was here, and it mattered.
My interests tend to lean toward animation, there's a lot more freedom and creativity, and live action doesn't pay attention to the aesthetics as much. If live action were more creative I'd be more into it, but right now most of it is bland as hell. I'm so glad that in the past decade or so, more people are starting to realize that animation is a medium, not a children's sub-genre, but there's still way too many people out there who still think that. I used to think their way of thinking was detrimental to animation, because the expectations that animation had to be a certain way would put a limitation on what was made, but now I think they're just limiting themselves because they are missing out on some of the best story telling and art this world has to offer.
what is fandom?
A fandom is a collection of fans of a particular thing, usually a piece of media. Passionate fans will create all sorts of fanworks in honor of their obsessions, including but not limited to fanfiction, fanart, amvs, e-shrines, cosplay, ect.what is shipping?
Shipping is the appreciation or fascination for the potential stories between two or more characters, often of a romantic or sexual nature, but not always. A ship doesn't need to be canon or potentially canon to be interesting to someone. A ship also doesn't need to conform to a characters canon (or percieved canon) sexualities/orientations. It's all about exploring potential stories. It's definitely not about picking a team and fighting over who's ship is better to the point of endangering real people's lives.what is canon?
When something is canon, that means it is undeniably true within the text. Fanon is when the majority of a fandom believes something is or should be canon, which may or may not align with canon itself. Headcanon is when a fan believes something that is based on canon but isn't canon at the time.one piece

Non-spoiler summary: 20-something years ago, Gold Roger, the King of the Pirates, announced upon his execution that his treasure was still out there waiting to be found. Many took to the seas in an attempt to find the One Piece, the pirate kings lost treasure. Roger died with a smile on his face knowing he just caused maximum chaos. Two decades later, Monkey D. Luffy sets off to find the One Piece himself.

drawfee
- type: youtube nonfiction show
- started: mid 2019
- interest: active
here's a starter pack of videos
- Four Artists Redraw the Same Classical Painting -- probably the best vid to start with, each artwork shows off a little bit of drawfee lore and is a good incapuslation of who each of the artist are
- Artists Draw Personalized Tarot Cards -- I love tarot so of course this appealed to me. includes the infamous Fool moment.
- Guess What Cartoon Character Julia is Drawing, I Dare You -- no really, I fucking dare you.
There are a lot of reasons why I love them, but among them are that they encourage their audience to vote in every election and be politically responsible, they're queer friendly and the last two years have done charity streams for pride month, they support Palestine, and are just all around good people.
